The story started slow and dragged a bit. Max finds a cat who doesn’t know he’s a cat. Ze is undercover when the gang brings in a woman they kidnapped. She’s trouble from the beginning. Laurenston continues the honey badger series with the middle sister Max. The writing is still stellar and the humor over the top. She continues with these sexy, sassy, neurotic women / honey bears. Once past a specific scene in the book (not telling as it gives too much away), the story picks up and can’t be put down.
