Triple Star Ranch Book 1
by Brynna Curry
Genre: Paranormal Romance
In the bible belt of the Deep South, small-town veterinarian Anastasia Brannon hides her magic from all but those closest to her for fear of ridicule. After a red-hot encounter with the new PI in town, it is impossible to deny their attraction. Throwing caution to the wind, she indulges her desires but keeps her secrets close.
A man with secrets of his own, Howl Raven uses his feral talents and tracking skills to make a living, doing his best to lay low and hide the curse that haunts him every month. So far, so good…until an uncontrollable shift outside the full moon leaves him the victim of a werewolf hunter.
When Ana finds him wounded in the woods near her cabin during a storm, she has no choice but to rely on her magic and out her secret to Howl. Racing against time, a werewolf hunter, and nature itself, Ana may be the only one who can banish the wolf from Howl’s blood, but at what cost?
Author’s Note: This book is a previously released prequel which has been extensively revised to include bonus content and a preview of Tempting Taylor. While it does have a fast HEA for Howl and Ana, the arcing storyline of Sam Murphy’s murder is left unresolved to be continued in the remaining books.
Brynna Curry was born south of the Mason-Dixon Line in a small Alabama town. Growing up, books fueled her dreams and imagination, ultimately became her sanctuary during the hardest times in her life. After living all over the southern states, she finally landed back in north Alabama where she met her husband, Jackie. She spent a wonderful twenty-two years with her hero, raising their three children.
Now widowed, she spends her free time writing and tending her ‘army’ of feral cats and rescued strays. Her furry minions, Jace, Styxx, Beerus, and Asheron, are always willing to keep her company while she works. She insists love is the truest magic and with it, every day is an adventure.

Love the sound of this book and love the cover.
Thank you for hosting me! You have such a cool banner. I love dragons.
Hi! Welcome to the Dragon’s Den! Thank you about my banner – I love it to. Dragon’s are amazing. Do you have a favorite quote from your book?
I think it would have to be this one.
Howl – “I’ll take you, turn you. Until I’m the sun that warms you, the moon that calls to you at night.”
But my favorite scene is between Ana and her once-lover Jace. There are volumes of emotion in her words to him, and it is clear she loves him dearly, just not romantically. A great deal of foreshadowing is in the scene and readers will have a wait for Jace’s story. His book will be the last and with his we will connect all the dots in the murder case. Which is only right, since Jace discovered his father’s body.
That sounds amazing. What was your inspiration for the book?
There are always a lot of little things that weave into a story. I live in a tiny lake town that is the inspiration for Shady Creek. We have a gas station/restaurant (Bears’ Den), a school, car wash, and after YEARS finally a Dollar General and that’s about it. So it is very small. Shady Creek is much the same. I have always loved supernatural creatures, particular werewolves and vampires, and I had always wanted to write one.
But probably the most influentual moment was the night my late husband and I were driving back from his mawmaw’s house along one of those old country roads. It was mid-October, cool enough and not so much that you couldn’t roll the windows down since it had been warm early in the day. I could smell rain on the air, the heat of lightning in the distance from a storm and overhead the moon was ringed and blood red. So I told Jackie to look at the ‘wolf moon’ and he said you should put that in a book.
I love that. Inspiration comes from the smallest things. Congratulations on the book!
The cover looks appropriately atmospheric.
