It’s been wonderful to connect with Eileen,
and I appreciate the opportunity to share more about what I do with all of
you. Since my bio is already provided, I
thought I would expand upon some of what touches me that in one form, or
another finds its way into my writing.
The following words are part of the textures
that are included in a poem I wrote several years ago
….A
lake rests among majestic hills
And
reflects the tranquil place of my mind…
These words, when I read them now remind me of
times when I’ve been hiking in the mountains, and the clouds, fog and mist are
resting below my feet, and gathered in a way that somehow looks like a calm
body of water is nestled within the mountain range.
I find nature’s unique moments so fascinating
and inspirational. Sometimes, tears like
waterfalls come from the well inside of me that is unknown, but felt.

One of my favorite scenes is the following
stanza that is included in the excerpt:
A moment I personally would like repeated in all of my days. A scene that holds so many variations, and are part of the inspiration for this story. My own dreams, needs, feelings, desires held in many ways within the words that make the layers of this stanza.

What advice would you give a beginner?
Something that helps me when I am staring at the center of uncertainty is to re-read, and re-read good reviews of my books. They can be like blankets of reminders to continue writing.
