Secret Magic book 3

by Eileen Troemel

Secret Magic

With this story, I had so many ideas running through my head and I couldn’t get them down on the page. I set up the story to go one way and after years of struggling to finish this book I realized I made the wrong choice so switched it up. Once I did, the book fell on the page.

Secrets – kept will protect but revealed can be deadly

Blurb

Mallory must discover the secrets in Lins or Lord Exferd will take her life in his quest for ultimate power.

Prophecy drives Lord Exferd in his plot to kill Mallory in order to strengthen and ensure his rule for all eternity. The prophecy threatens Mallory, her unborn child, and her new found family.

To atone for his betrayal, Ovra must keep his secrets as he joins enemy forces in Lins. If his secrets are discovered, Mallory will fall victim to the prophecy.

Will Ovra be able to redeem himself or will his secrets cost him everything?

Hostile Magic book 2

by Eileen Troemel

Hostile Magic

Hostile Magic took me two or three years to write and fought me with every word. In the end, it turned out better than I thought. The characters were quite contentious.

Family – can’t pick ‘em, can’t kill ‘em.  Or can you?

Blurb

Tensions rise between the leaders of Linos and Scons. Linos increases their soldiers at the border. War looms on the horizon.

Refugees flee from hunters into Scons. Garlen wants to protect them but prophecy warns of danger and betrayal.

Garlen sets aside his lingering distrust of magic and Mallory to protect his new daughter, Arial and his province.

Family – is it those you’re born to or those you love? Mallory meets her blood family. Anger clouds her judgement. Will her emotions cause harm to the family of her heart?

Wild Magic book 1

by Eileen Troemel

This book was inspired by the geography between Wisconsin and Indiana. My middle daughter lived in Indiana and for my weekend visits, I drove through and noted the different geographical things like the quarry in Illinois.

Prophecy – must be followed, even if it kills you.

Blurb

Forbidden and outlawed, Magi – magic wielders – are hunted down.

Mallory dares to enter Lins province to risk her life for another. If the villagers find out she’s Magi, they’ll kill her for the bounty. When forced to choose, she saves another and exposes her Magi skills.

Joining forces with travelers from the northern province Scons, Mallory flees Magi hunters. She knows her fellow travelers want something from her.

Can she trust these strangers?

New Cover – Wild Magic

Cover Design by Sweet ‘N Spicy

If you’ve been wandering my site, you may have notice Wild Magic has a new cover! Sweet ‘N Spicy designed the new cover!

Wild Magic has gone through more than a face lift – it’s gotten a new edit and blurb. So this one has had a full makeover.

Don’t worry Mallory, Leland, and the rest are there, I went through several times and found things which needed cleaning up.

Now Wild Magic 2 has been out of my head and into the computer but I’m working on edits. In my head it was always WM2 but I have a name! Hostile Magic

There’s no blurb yet but the tag line is Family – can’t pick ’em, can’t kill ’em Or can you?

I hope to have this one out in the next month but I’ll be doing a cover reveal soon. Sweet ‘N Spicy made a LOVELY cover for it and I’m really excited about it.

A Nap or ???

Busy weekend means a lot got done but also a lot of aching people in my house.  Ken and Vicki worked on a whole bunch of things while I took care of a bunch of computer stuff.

Ken replaced the small step off our deck with a wider and longer step.  It looks lovely and will be easier once he gets a railing up.  Vicki liked it a lot.

Vicki got part of her living room painted and with Ken got shelves assembled.  Of course she loaded them up with books.

I worked on Wayfarer 16.  This morning when I had time alone in the house it took me four hours to finish it.  I like how this book turned out.  I’m not sure on the ending – but I never am.

I’m showered and dressed – odd for a vacation day but I am.  Next I’m going to go take a nap.  Or maybe I’ll read Wild Magic since I think I want to work on Wild Magic 2 next.  Or maybe I’ll take a break from it all and watch a movie while I crochet.  So many options.  Nap is sounding good especially since I had a weird night sleep.

Tomorrow I have someone coming to help me with the organization I want to do.  Hopefully we get a lot done but we will see.  I’m looking forward to seeing her.

The rest of this week will go to editing Wayfarer 12 and getting it published.  I’m really excited to get this out there.  I’ve been working on covers and I need to work on back material.  It’s exciting!

New Book!

Wild Magic is out!  I’ve published this one and it’s available on both Amazon and Smashwords!
