Sammy Davies

Sammy Davies and I met through social media. She’s from Melbourne Victoria!

Author Bio

Sammy Davies was born in 1976 in Melbourne Victoria, to a beautiful couple Dot and John.

Raised in Melbourne with her younger sister Karen and her two younger brothers Joel and Jack, she has lived over most of Victoria. Sammy has three sons Shannon, Samuel and Peter.

Sammy has been writing for most of her life, her very first story to ever be published was a little story in the newspaper when she was still in primary school. She had a wild imagination and could talk the leg off an iron pot. As she grew her stories grew with her, starting off by telling the tales of her family and friends to drawing on the emotions and vibrations that she felt the world give off.

Her stories aren’t about particular people, but they are real none the less, real emotions, real people and real stories, they touch people whether that is to make them fall in love, hate or grieve, Sammy always aims her stories make you feel something.

Tell us about yourself.

I am 43 years old and live in Clunes, Victoria in a tiny house. I love the smell of cow poo and am a chronic audiophile. I despise feet and am morbidly afraid of nasal fluids. I’ve just discovered magnet fishing, and have really been enjoying finding all sorts of oddities that have found their way into our waterways.

When did you know you wanted to be an author?

When I was in my teens. I’ve always loved writing and found it to be a great release, especially in those teenage years that are full of angst and boyfriend troubles. I didn’t start to take my writing seriously until I was in my late thirties.

What genres do you like to read?  Are these the same genres you write in?

I love romance. I’m a closet romantic, my favourite book is Wuthering heights. It seems I’ve always liked that dark brooding alpha male. I write dark romance, with loads of trigger warnings.

Is your book for adults, young adults or children?

My books are definitely suited more to adults. I do have a couple of books, such as “Soldiers at War” and “The Mollops” that are written with young adults in mind.

What is your current release or project?

My current project that I’m working on is currently nameless, I can’t think of a great title for it, however, it is dealing with domestic violence.

Tell us about the key characters

My favourite characters come from my book “Killer Love”, they are Wolf and Molly, who are best friends and lovers. They go on a killing spree of a pedophile ring. Wolf had the right amount of alpha and gentleness, while Molly was a badass. My book currently involves Tara and Brock. Tara is a broken woman, who learns to be tough. While Brock is alpha, of course, but not aggressive.

What is your blurb or synopsis of the book?

The current book synopsis is that Tara has been attacked by her ex husband Tommy, who killed their daughter Alice and her parents. She is learning to cope with life without her family, when she reunites with Brock, her father’s lawyer. Brock had tried to get Tara to leave Tommy when they were in high school, however, Tara was too in love and couldn’t see the evil that Tommy exuded.  Brock then helps Tara with her legal matters, and her families estate, while walking the journey of healing with her. Of course they are going to fall in love and like all of my books, live happily ever after.

This is an exert from my book “Sisters Revenge”

Now, Emmaline cried to herself— she had no protector, no big brother, and no one she could get advice from. No one would be in her corner at school, no one to tell her that she was beautiful.

Emmaline shook her head as torrential tears continued to flow. She jumped when her phone buzzed. Emmaline looked at the screen and saw Spencers name pop up. She scrambled to open the message. He wouldn’t be sending her a message if he were dead.

The phone dropped from her hands, landing with a hard thud on the floor, the crack of the screen shattering and the silent scream that stretched at her lips. Emmaline shook her head as she knelt on the floor, gently lifting the phone, afraid to look at the message, afraid to see what was there from her brothers’ phone.

She prayed she was seeing things, but as she turned the phone, the same picture was sprawled across the screen— a photo of her brother lying face down in a pool. Emmaline scrolled down, seeing the next photo sent almost immediately after the first, of the paramedic’s desperately working on Spencer’s wet and lifeless body.

Harley, one of Spencer’s friends, stood soaking wet next to Spencer, his face filled with anguish watching the paramedics attempt to save her brother’s life.

Emmaline shook her head and closed her eyes. “This can’t be possible. It’s a nightmare, it’s all just a bad nightmare,” she mumbled to herself, as she gave her leg a hard pinch between her thumb and forefinger.

Her leg burned and Emmaline threw her head back, squeezing her eyes tight and wincing at the pain that spread through her body. She looked down at the phone again, staring at the cruel photos someone sent her.

Emmaline went to reply, but noticed that the person with Spencer’s phone was typing, so she sat watching the screen, waiting for the next piece of heartbreak. It didn’t take long to come through in video form— the coroner shoving Spencer’s body crudely into a body bag and zipping it up.

People stood around with the police and paramedics. The video showed Reed and Harley talking with police. Harley continued to run his hands through his long, dark hair. Reed stood trembling with his face in his hands and his shoulder’s shaking with sobs.

Emmaline watched the video over and over, trying to work out who had Spencer’s phone. She tried to figure out who would be doing something so callous.

In the video, Emmaline noticed groups of Spencer’s friends standing around talking, most visibly shaken, and a few parents mingled in amongst the group. Jaya, one of the girls Spencer had dated on and off, was sobbing into her friends’ Natalie and Lily’s neck. But there wasn’t anyone that she didn’t know, or anyone missing from Spencer’s friends.

Emmaline snarled, typing angrily into the phone. “Who are you?”

The phone showed the person typing on the other end. Emmaline felt her grief turning into anger. Her fury beginning to boil over, she couldn’t believe anyone would do something so cruel. Spencer wasn’t even cold, and this person felt it would be funny to terrorise his sister. Her anger mixed with a disgust that made her want to vomit.

“It’s Spencer, you silly, chunky little nerd,” the reply read.

Do you have a favorite scene?

In my book Killer Love, my favourite scene is when Molly feeds a pedophile that she is in the process of killing to starving rats.

What advice would you give a beginner?

Just write. Don’t stress the little things, get a good editor and enjoy the process.

But their presence is unwelcome, and Mercy finds herself harnessing the universal elements to save the lives of her beloved coven.

Switched in Time

Switched in Time
by Breanna Hayse
Genre: Time Travel Romance
Nya Lynn Crow is stuck in a boring life. Her only real joy exists in attending BDSM and kinkster parties with her best friend, Tawni. However, even those events are being ruined by a woman who’s out to destroy her, and because of whom Nya ends up being drugged, beaten and left to die on a mesa in the Sandia mountain foothills.
She tries to walk home in the dark and stumbles on to ancient Indian burial grounds, only to awaken in the care of two very handsome ranchers who are strong, kind, and ridiculously old-fashioned. While they nurse her back to health, she finds herself yearning for modern conveniences—conveniences that she soon discovers have not yet been invented.
Flint Masters, stern cowboy and owner of High River Ranch, takes an instant shine to this beautiful but strange ‘half-breed’, but her lack of proper manners and inability to follow direction grate on his nerves. As a result, Nya soon discovers that all the fantasies and role playing games she so enjoyed enacting before at BDSM events are nothing like the reality of a real, old-fashioned spanking. She’s also quick to learn that her sexual appetite is something beyond the ‘polite society’ expectations of a gentleman rancher; and her desires end up inviting not only another switching, but also fulfillment the likes of which she’s never before experienced.
Can a modern, sexually expressive, and highly opinionated young woman survive in the Old West in 1863, surrounded by cowboys, Vaqueros and Apache Indians?
Especially when time proves itself to be cyclic, and Nya finds herself face to face with her old nemesis once again—only this time, the evil woman is trying to not just destroy her, but every Apache and Vaquero in the territory. Nya must decide whether to stand up to her for once and for all, or to run and hide, and she ends up risking everything, including her blossoming relationship with Flint, to saves the lives of the people around her, and to hopefully make the future a better place for all of them.
This fast-paced Western adventure is full of what fans have come to love and expect from Breanna Hayse; gorgeous men; strong, opinionated, curiously vulnerable women; sizzling spankings and rich historic detail; with a witty dose of humor thrown in for good measure.
BDSM/AP lifestyler Breanna Hayse strives to give her readers truth and reality of the BDSM/Age-Play/Total Power and Erotic Exchange lifestyle.
Who am I?
I’m a native Californian gone ‘wild’, and had the opportunity to travel the globe and discover the world through the eyes of both a Marine Intelligence specialist and a BDSM lifestyler. I left the service to go into hospice nursing and grief counseling, eventually working as a marriage and family therapist for those involved in alternative lifestyle development. This experience has allowed me to gain unique inspiration for my books and offer realistic plots and relatable characters.
In 2004, my husband, John, and I joined forces to work with both submissives and dominants- teaching, training, listening and loving. Our goal was to take the mystery and fear out of the lifestyle and mentor people in safe, consensual and healthy relationships.
My first book, The Game Plan, was published in 2012 and opened the door to the now-booming world of Age-Play literature. Since that time, I’ve devoted my ‘spare’ time to writing, researching, community involvement, and private and group pro bono counseling in deviant behavior, alternative lifestyle, and addiction recovery.
I was formally ‘dungeon trained’ as a Domme before discovering my submissive side when I joined the service. My scenarios are pulled primarily from either personal experience or observation, including spending time in BDSM clubs as the safety/medical officer. My multi-faceted background allows me to glean from many avenues and give a unique and intelligent literary experience through elements of fantasy and fiction. I also discuss the questions and psychology of the lifestyle in a manner that is fun and informative, and based on ‘the real deal.’
I live with my husband, musician, and fellow-author, John Hayse, and two border collies in southern California. We practice a 24/7 D&S relationship with speckles of AP (and many trips to Build-A-Bear), and happily spend every moment together that we can. My hobbies include my puppies, hiding my vanilla salt-water taffy where John can’t find it, exotic art, collecting inspirational trinkets, and developing my own paddle line. You can also see me as a featured author/instructor in professional conference settings and as a Sexpert for kinkyliterature.com.

Noelle Rahn-Johnson

Noelle and I started talking on social media and we have a lot in common including a nearly similar book title! She’s from the Midwest and so am I!

Author Bio

Noelle currently lives in Northern Minnesota with her husband, their four children, two dogs, two rats, a handful of goldfish, and a very spoiled cat. She spends most of her days puttering away on the keyboard with a breathtaking view of a lake in her backyard as a source of tranquil inspiration. Her and her husband were high school sweethearts, and will be celebrating their 25th year of wedded bliss in August of 2017. She enjoys fishing, reading, shopping, writing, and spending time with her family.

Tell us about yourself

Well, I’m a married, mom of 4 with a granddaughter. I’ve been writing since 2014, but didn’t publish my first book until 2015. I currently have 9 books out and writing 2 at the same time currently. I live on a lake in northern Minnesota with my hubs of 25+ years, 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 6 pet rats and a handful of fish.

When did you know you wanted to be an author?

I didn’t know I wanted to be an author. I just had an idea of a story one day and wrote it down. It became the Pieces Trilogy and I just haven’t stopped since.

What genres do you like to read?  Are these the same genres you write in?

I’m a romance freak. Any HEA romance except for historical, I’m good. I write what I read. Contemporary, shifter, vampire, NA/College. 18+, I like it steamy but not over the top.

Is your book for adults, young adults or children?

My books are all 18+ because of the language and sexual scenes. But they are not erotica or 50 shades. I have written a child’s book, but I’m waiting for some more money to come in so I can get the illustrations done.

What is your current release or project?

The last book I did release was Secrets Past. I’m currently writing Hidden in the shadows which is book 2 in the Shadows series AND The Queen’s Justice, which is a stand alone.

Tell us about the key characters

Well, in Hidden in the Shadows there is Samuel who is a skinny red head and a red macaw shifter. Jamison is a silver backed Ape in Remote Oregon. They meet under different situations and there is sex, drama and love.

What is your blurb or synopsis of the book?

Squatting on the forest floor, hidden behind and under the tall, thick ferns, Jamison watches as a red macaw flies and dodges trees, scrambling away from two other macaws chasing him.

When the red bird miscalculates his turn, and flies head on into a tree, the other two birds squawk and fly away.

Jamison lumbers over to where the injured bird lays. Seeing that the bird may be injured, he carefully picks it up with his huge, thick hands and cradles it into his massive chest. He brings it to his home to take care of it until it heals.

When Sam wakes, he’s no longer in the forest trying to get away from the aggressive female and male shifters. But now he’s lying on a soft leather couch. In someone’s home.

The female and her boyfriend wanted a three-some, but Sam’s not bi, he’s totally GAY!

He knows he won’t have children the normal way, but adopting isn’t out of the question. Sam’s lived his adult life alone. His parents abandoned him when he came out to them as gay. And that didn’t sit well with their flighty and all-mighty life style.

When Sam meets Jamison’s almost black eyes, attraction, heat and ‘mate’ screeches through his brain. Sam’s a skinny white boy with flaming red hair.

Will this lumbering, muscular, dark chocolate skinned, shifter of a man want him?

Could the hulking man want more than just him and a roll in the leaves?

Will their animal shifter be accepting of each other?

One flying and the other a chest pounding, beefy shifter?

Share an excerpt.

Chapter 1

Jamison

I’ve lived on the very outskirts of this town called Remote, Oregon for all my adult life alone. For three reasons only-It’s beautiful, private and quiet. Those three things alone make it worth my while, but also my animal can go ape wild if he wants too and we don’t need to worry about humans interfering. My beast doesn’t like being alone, but I can’t help that.

There are a few shifters in this area, but we pretty much keep to ourselves. Shifters are all over the world, not just where their animal is originally native from.

I live in a small two-bedroom one-bathroom rustic cabin home. I have wood to burn for heat, and a small heater in my bedroom for those freezing cold nights when my balls are about to fall off. I have electric and running water, so I’m not too far off the grid, but I do like my peace and quiet. And my small home is right on the edge of the forest and mountains.

Currently, I’m in my animal form munching on the berries I love so much, and my huge sausage looking fingers squish a few, so I lick the berry juice off them. I drop a few as I’m startled by a loud squawk and a few screeches coming from somewhere in the upper boughs of the massive pine trees. I’m sitting here in the depths of the forest, forced to listen to the constant squawking of the damn birds flying overhead.

Do you have a favorite scene?

Not yet. I’m only about 12,000+ words into the book, but it’s already getting interesting.

What advice would you give a beginner?

Dorothy Michaels

I’ve met a number of lovely authors on social media of late. Here’s a conversation with one!

Author Bio

Dorothy Michaels has lived many different lives. A wife since she was 18 years old, she became a proud mother of two. From there she evolved to become a life guard for the Girl Scout troop she led. This in turn led to becoming a swimming instructor, life guard instructor, CPR instructor, and First Aid instructor through Red Cross. She combined being a Realtor for five years to becoming the Assistant Pool Director before she returned to school to become a Physical Therapist. After graduating she also taught Physiology for a local college while being a full time Physical Therapist. What can she say, she loves to teach as well as continually learning.

Dorothy has been a voracious reader of romance novels throughout all that time, falling in love with every one of the heroes she was reading about. They are all so sexy!

Dorothy is a published author in fiction as well as a nonfiction article for a professional journal for physical therapy.

She lives in Michigan with her husband and daughter in what she laughingly calls her zoo. Two dogs, two Amazon parrots, a bearded dragon, and a 125 gallon salt water aquarium. Dorothy loves writing, gardening, cooking, painting, and reading romances.

Tell us about the key characters

Cole is a billionaire focused on continually making money and enjoying his bachelor status to the max at the beginning of the book.  However by the end of the week he spends with Mari, he is seeing there’s so much more to life and makes changes necessary to expand his lifestyle to include a monogamous relationship with Mari, changes in his corporate life and weaving philanthropy deeply into his new life with Mari.

Cole in his own words:

I’m a nose to the grindstone kind of guy.  I learned everything I know about making money from my best friend’s father.  He’s one rich bastard. I intend to be richer.  I’m close, very close, and I’m not stopping now.  The only time I’m not working on my bottom-line is when I’m with women.  When it comes to women, I’m a player.  I admit it.  In fact, I own it.  I’m proud of the fact that I’ve fucked more women than I can count.  I’m not opposed to going at it all night, but one night is where I draw the line.  My rule?  Avoid relationships like the plague.  They’re messy.  I’m used to my conquests seeing me as a means to an end.  They like to be seen with me. I’m good in bed and the women who share mine like having that bragging rights.  They aren’t interested in the man behind the money.  That’s always been all right by me.
But when Kode, my best friend, decides to hold his wedding and the week-long celebrations before it at the Empress Hotel on Grand Cayman Island, I see her.  She’s the only bright spot through all the boredom of schmoozing with the rich and famous.  She’s a little sandy blonde spitfire who works as the Empress Hotel event planner.  Her startling light blue eyes captivated me.  She would laugh and flirt with everyone making sure they had a good time, except me.  I couldn’t stop following her with my eyes as she flitted from one place to the next.  But she avoided my eyes whenever she was near me.  Never before have I had a woman totally ignore me.  She was such an enigma.  Yet somehow, it made me want her more.

Mari is strong woman who has been knocked down by life and stands back up to continued on in her own terms.  She was born wealthy but turned her back on it to marry for love instead of producing baby billionaires. When her husband and daughter were killed she finished her college education and moved to Grand Cayman Island to start an entirely new life.

Mari in her own words:

I’m an event planner at the Empress Hotel on Grand Cayman Island.  I escaped there to begin my life over again after my husband and daughter were killed in a vehicular homicide.  I’ve been celibate since then by choice.  One man who was present for all the parties to celebrate the wedding I have been working on this week stood out from all the rest.  He was breathtaking to look at.  I felt a sexual charge whenever I was near him but I refused to make eye contact.  He was a hot topic among the other women working the events with me.  It was whispered that he was a business mogul himself who was regularly photographed with various beautiful women and fucked them all.  None of that interests me in the slightest.  But whenever I was near him I could feel the sexual energy pouring off his body, smell the pheromones in the air.  It made my insides quake whenever I felt him watching me, tracking my every movement – and that was the entire time I was in the same room with him. I felt his predatory power; his sexuality as his arresting blue eyes followed me, drank me in, and called to me.
The fact that he looked like a cross between an NFL quarterback and a male model didn’t help my peace of mind either.  His clothes were obviously tailor made for him fitting him to perfection in a way that accentuated his broad shoulders, expansive chest, narrow hips, and the bulge in the front of his pants. It spoke of another asset that made the women around him drool. But the last thing I wanted to do was hook up with a manwhore. And I certainly wasn’t interested in being just another notch on his bedpost.
But somehow his presence on the island made me want, no, need to make some changes in my life.  It’s time to stop the five-year drought of being celibate.  I now long to let my hair down and live life to the fullest instead of just planning other people’s life events for them. I love my job but all work and no play – or sex for that matter – is making me feel like I am being left behind and that simply has to change starting now.

When we near the Open Ceiling cave, the guide points out a red birch tree.  “The islanders call it the tourist tree because it is red and always peeling just like the tourists.”  He grins with amusement.  Everyone in our group chuckles at his humor.  He points out another very slender tree and tells us it is a pepper cinnamon tree that smells like cinnamon but tastes like pepper.  My curiosity got the best of me.  I had to go over and smell the bark.  “It really does smell like cinnamon,” I report to Cole.  “Come over here and give it a whiff.  It smells so nice.”

Cole inhales a lungful, and then leans over to whisper in my ear.  “I like the smell of your pussy better.”  The combination of his come-fuck-me voice his blatant gaze scatters goose bumps across my skin.  Even in this group of strangers, Cole’s eyes broadcast pure sex.  His look tells me he wants me and that he will take me and fucks me into submission the first opportunity he has.  I clench under his powerful stare.  My breath hitches and I blush.  He smiles at my body’s response.  One of the pair of older women walking behind us fans herself dramatically before she looks at her friend and says, “I wish I had a man look at me like that!”  Then they giggle like schoolgirls.  She pats my arm as she walks by and tells me, “You’re a lucky girl to be with this one.”

I gaze up at Cole.  With his just-fucked hair, two-day growth on his strong jaw and molten blue eyes outlined with their sinfully long dark lashes, he is the epitome of male perfection.  “I am lucky, aren’t I?”  He gives my hand a little squeeze and winks at me.  Cole is trouble.  Big.  Fucking.  Trouble.  And he is making it difficult to breathe right now because my heart is beating so fast from the excitement of being near him.  Somebody needs to pinch me so I know I am not dreaming right now.

Definitely out of my league.  And he has ruined me for all other men with his lovemaking.  The bar was now simply set too high for any other man to live up too.

Do you have a favorite scene?

I like the kidnapped scene where Mari stays calm under pressure so she can escape.
